2 Days Lake Mburo National Park Safari is Shortest Uganda Safari to the smallest Uganda National Park known as Lake Mburo National Park. Located in the Kiruhura district in Western Uganda, Lake Mburo National Park is the smallest park (but so amazing) in Uganda covering approximately 370km squared and about 240kms by road west of Kampala. It is home to 350 bird species as well as animals like zebra, impala, eland, buffalo, oribi, defassa waterbuck, leopard, hippo, hyena, topi, and reedbuck among others. Also, within this park’s borders are five lakes that attract crocodiles, hippos water birds as well swamps.

Day one: Transfer to Lake Mburo
Morning at 07.00 am, your driver/guide will pick you up from your hotel where your safari journey will start. Continue to Masaka, Lyantonde and you will have a stop at Mpambire the drum makers’ village to check how awesomely the local drums are made then head to the park. This journey lasts up to four hours. Check in for lunch at Mihingo Lodge / Mantana Tented Camp (Upmarket Accommodation) or Mburo Safari Lodge / Arcadia cottages (Midrange Accommodation). In the afternoon, head for a boat ride for views of fish eagles, hippos, crocodiles, topis and many more. Return to your lodge for dinner and over.
Day Two: Morning game drive and back to Kampala
In the morning after an early breakfast, proceed for a game drive in search of the shy elands, impalas, jackals, hyenas, zebras, Uganda kob, and buffalos to mention but just a few. Return to the lodge for lunch, check out and head for Kampala with yet another chance of game viewing, arriving in Kampala early evening.
