Detailed Itinerary: 3 Days Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary Tour
Day 1: Transfer from Entebbe to Ngamba Island
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, a safari driver from Enjoy Safaris Africa will pick you up and transfer you to the pier where you will board a speed boat on Lake Victoria to Ngamba Island and this will take approximately 45 minutes. Following your arrival at chimp island, you will directly head to the visitor’s center for an introduction and educational orientation by one of the chimpanzee caregivers as they demonstrate the feeding of the chimpanzee. Later you will have a cultural performance organized in the night by the bonfire which involves performing African traditional songs and dances, drumming, and storytelling as well as interacting with the locals around the sanctuary which offers a memorable cultural experience. Afterward, return to your booked lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Chimpanzee caregiving experience and sunset cruise
Breakfast will be served at your lodge and after enjoying your morning meal, you will set out for a half-day chimpanzee caregiving experience during the morning session at the sanctuary in the morning. While at the sanctuary, you will participate in preparing food for the chimps, feeding them, and cleaning their sleeping chambers. You will have lunch at the island and afterward, go for a visit to the fishing villages, return to the lodge in the late afternoon and prepare for the sunset cruise you will explore Lake Victoria as you cross the equator line from the southern hemisphere to the northern hemisphere, witness the sunset as you enjoy your favorite drinks. Dinner and overnight at your booked lodge.

Day 3: Depart for Entebbe
Before setting off for Entebbe, you will have breakfast and afterward check out of the lodge with you belongings. Set off on a boat ride to the pier where your driver will pick you and drop you off at Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight.
